Hellooo Sugarbunnies!!

I'm back with another fabulous Wednesday Stamp Club and we're singing the Back to School Blues!!!

I just looooove back to school time, and this year is NO exception!  Mostly because it means that Fall is upon us and it's my favorite season, hands down! (Ok, I admit it may have something to do with the new season of Grey's Anatomy starting, but whatever - let's pretend I'm all about the falling leaves..)

Anyhoo, back to our challenge for this week!!  All you have to do is create a project featuring something "back to school" related and use something blue!! How fun is that??  I hope you'll join us and play along!!

Here is my "Back to School Blues" project:

Is that not the stinkin' cutest thing you've ever seen?? Oh I just loove those little PI Girls!!  SO I decided to make this adorable notepad cover for Nick's new teacher - a little suckin' up never hurts right?? cough, cough.. (kidding!!)  So I stamped my little girl using my Apple for You stamp, colored it with Copic Markers, and used some small pieces of my Report Card Collection paper from October Afternoon to piece together my background.   For my "Blue" part of the challenge (aside from her dress of course!) I added this gorgeous Gingham Ribbon from my Bakery Blend collection.  I finished up my card by adding the teacher's name using tiny letter stickers, and I added a Neutral Button using some tiny twine.

I wish I had a card to share today but the truth is I've been slacking around and dreaming of re-doing my kitchen... really messy stuff, I know, but in the end I'm hoping it will look just like this one:

I know, it's tiny, but perhaps you've seen this gorgeous Kitchen in the A Woman's Place stamp set.. love it, it's so cute!! check out this card that the fabulous Jessica made using the set:

 

Isn't it stunning??  Well maybe if I ask nicely I can get one of my very own!!

I am sooo looking forward to a nice long weekend of catching up on my stamping!  seriously, I should be de-cluttering, but slacking is just so much more fun right??

So anyhoo, I've been having so much fun playing with my TSG sets, and I could not wait to share this super-fun card I made using my ROFL Taglines set:

Okay so how stinkin' funny is this?? Well, silly me I forgot to take a picture of the inside, but the "inside" sentiment included in the set reads "put it in reverse and did it again" isn't that a hoot?? looove it!!

For my card I used some more of the gorgeous paper from my Webster's Pages Triple Paper Pack, and I added some lace trim from SU!, and a yummy vintage button from Papertrey Ink.  I added the terracotta border using my MFT Die-namics Scalloped Edge die.  My image is colored using Copic Markers and I added some diamond glaze to the windshield and the headlights - super shiny and cuuute!!  I added some distressing to my image panel using my new favorite  - Old Paper Distress Ink from Ranger (yummy), and a little Soft Sky sponging to soften it up a bit, and voila! Super cute right??
